Welcome to majestic Morocco! Upon arrival at the airport, you'll be transferred to your hotel. Unwind with a mint tea or indulge in the spa facilities before the Welcome Meeting at 18:00, where you'll meet your guide and fellow travelers. Afterwards, enjoy included dinner.

Casablanca - Marrakech. After breakfast, we journey south via the highway towards vibrant Marrakech, with a coffee stop en route. Take in the captivating landscape before arriving in the "red city" and checking into your hotel.
Consider joining an optional guided city tour or a local cooking class in the afternoon, before reuniting with fellow travelers arriving in Marrakech at 18:00. While here, marvel at Marrakech’s iconic landmark, the rose-colored Koutoubia Mosque, standing tall at 77 meters. No visit to Marrakech is complete without exploring the city’s UNESCO-listed medina and Djemaa-el-Fna square, a bustling marketplace teeming with snake charmers, musicians, henna artists, and an array of spice and souvenir stalls.

Marrakech - Boumalne Dades. This morning, we traverse the majestic High Atlas Mountains of Morocco, arriving at the ancient village of Ait Benhaddou. This village stands as a UNESCO World Heritage site and serves as a backdrop for numerous international films, including Gladiators, Prince of Persia, and Game of Thrones. Nearby lies Ouarzazate, known as the Hollywood of North Africa for its prolific film studios.
En route to Boumalne Dades, our stop for the night, we pass through the enchanting Roses Valley, renowned for its fragrant damaskina roses, where locals celebrate the annual harvest with a vibrant festival.
Day 4 Sahara Berber Camp

Boumalne Dades - Sahara Berber Camp. Today, we bid farewell to the Dades Valley as we embark on a scenic drive eastward. Along the way, we have a brief excursion to the Todra Gorge, where we stroll through the palm groves of the oasis and admire its renowned gorges.
Continuing our journey, we'll make our way to the magnificent desert dunes of Erg Chebbi in Merzouga. Here, transition to camelback for an unforgettable trek into the vast Sahara Desert, just in time to witness the breathtaking sunset. Afterwards, we'll return to our authentic Berber Camp on the desert's edge, where we enjoy local cuisine, traditional music, and sleep under the Saharan stars.

Sahara Berber Camp - Fes. Following breakfast, we set out on a picturesque drive through Errachidia and the renowned Ziz Valley, famed for its lush date palms. Our journey then takes us through the imposing High and Middle Atlas Mountains. En route, we pause at the Cedar Forest to encounter the Barbary macaque apes in their natural habitat.
Continuing our scenic adventure, we make a stop at Ifrane, an alpine-style town once favoured as a retreat by the French during their occupation. Our day concludes as we arrive in Fes, where we settle in for the night.

Today, enjoy a guided exploration of Fes, renowned as the oldest and largest medieval city globally. Its bustling medina is home to 400,000 inhabitants. Take in all the aromas, sights, and sounds, in a place where only donkeys and bicycles can traverse its narrow alleys.
While mosques are reserved for Muslims, there's a wealth of mosques, palaces, and other architectural marvels to discover. We will see dye-pits, tanneries, pharmacies, pottery workshops, and traditional restaurants during the tour. Later, return to the hotel to refresh before an optional traditional meal where you can immerse yourself in live Moroccan entertainment, featuring enchanting music, captivating belly dancing, and mesmerising magic performances.

Fes - Chefchaouen. Get ready to visit the famous ‘The Blue Pearl,’ the city of Chefchaouen, for a guided tour this afternoon. Nestled high up in the Rif Mountains, historic Chefchaouen unveils its beauty with its distinctive blue doors and white-walled medina, once serving as a Berber defense post. Explore the heart of Chefchaouen at the main square, where the Kasbah, central Mosque, and aesthetic cafes await. Dive into the bustling market, a vibrant blend of traditional Moroccan and tourist offerings.

Day 8 Ravishing Rabat & Back to Casablanca
Chefchaouen - Casablanca. With an early start, we head southward to Rabat, the official capital of Morocco. Upon arrival, we enjoy a guided tour of Rabat, exploring its major landmarks such as the iconic Hassan Tower and the Mausoleum of the Alaouite King Mohamed V and his son Hassan II.
Next, we visit the Oudaya Kasbah, a fortified structure, once serving as a defense against European invasions. After a break for lunch in Rabat, we proceed to Casablanca for an optional but highly recommended visit to the magnificent Hassan II Mosque before retiring to our hotel for the final evening of our journey.

Staff at the Kasbah are very helpful and the restaurant comes with great recommendations. Those who are in to local music can enjoy and join in with drumming sessions that take place each night.
Camping out in the Sahara Desert is an incredible experience, enabling you to sit on top of a dune to watch the setting sun, sit around a camp fire for dinner and lie back and see the stars. No alcohol.
