Itinerary

Day 1 - Welcome to Whitehorse!

Vancouver - Whitehorse - Yukon. Head to the Air North check-in counter at Vancouver International Airport's Domestic Terminal for 7:00 a.m. A representative will assist with check-in. Make sure to have your passport ready. After check-in, proceed to the gate.

The flight will then depart for Whitehorse. Relax and enjoy a selection of complimentary snacks onboard. Upon arrival in Whitehorse, a representative will greet us. We will then embark on a tour of Whitehorse city, with allocated time to explore this charming northern city.

Next, we travel approximately 30 km from downtown Whitehorse to the Yukon Wildlife Preserve for a guided tour. There are excellent opportunities to view and photograph wildlife in their natural habitat, including Dall Sheep, Bighorn Sheep, Mountain Goats, Deer, Elk, Woodland Caribou, Wood Bison, Musk-Ox, and Moose, often from close up.

Check in at our accommodation and receive our Arctic winter clothes to keep us snug. In the evening, we will be treated to a gourmet group dinner at the lodge. Later in the night or early morning, there will be an opportunity to view the Northern Lights.

Please note: The Whitehorse tour may take place on Day 4, depending on the final flight schedule.
