Jiuzhaigou is a stunning nature reserve located just north of Sichuan right in the heart of China. In the recent past, very little was known about the Jiuzhaigou national park due to its inaccessibility. Nowadays, there are regular flights and long distance buses that ferry travellers back and forth. Since it became a hotspot for tourism, the park has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage site and is being carefully conserved. A set of guidelines have been put in place in order to maintain the sanctuary's natural splendour. Home to some of the world's most awe-inspiring natural wonders, Jiuzhaigou is not to be missed.
