Tours and hiking in the Todra Gorge Discover this natural wonder, perfect for hiking rock-climbing and trekking.

Discover the Todra Gorge

The deep ravine of Todra Gorge is situated on the remote east side of the High Atlas Mountains. Many years ago, a raging river carved out the gorge. The final 40 kilometers of the gorge run through the mountains, with the final 600 meters being the most spectacular stretch of the gorge. At the 600-meter mark, the canyon narrows to a flat, stony track as little as 10 meters wide in places, with smooth rock walls stretching up to 160 meters high.

The rock faces seem to change colour during the day, from a rosy red when the sun is high to a dull tan as the day goes on. There are many hiking trails available on the Gorge, with spectacular views as you traverse the canyon. You may even spot some of the area’s locals with their small donkeys or hearing camels.
