Flying to Croatia from South Africa:
The beautiful islands of Croatia are roughly a 16 hour flight from South Africa. Depending on which cruise route or land tour you have chosen, you will likely need to fly into either Split or Dubrovnik. If flying to Croatia from South Africa then the quickest flight options are with Lufthansa via Frankfurt, Air France via Paris and British Airways via London. Some flights may require a second transit stop in Zagreb, Croatia's capital. Flight connection times can vary depending on which day of the week you fly so you may wish to consider extending your time in Croatia to coincide with more convenient flight options.
