Video cameras are not permitted inside the caves and are subject to a fee.
Please note: The Elephanta caves are closed on Mondays, and subject to weather conditions. Also closed during Monsoon from June till September, or during Naval exercises which can be conducted unannounced.
Tipping is not included and is an entirely personal gesture.
