The city is known for its impressive original Inca walls, showcasing remarkable craftsmanship, and its squares are adorned with ornate colonial churches. Cusco is a bustling and vibrant city, where shoeshine boys and postcard vendors vie for your attention along cobblestone streets lined with handicraft shops and cafés. By evening, the town center comes alive as locals and visitors gather in its many restaurants, bars, and clubs.

The city is finally beginning to emerge and the contrast between the old and the new is striking. This afternoon is free to explore the vibrant city as you please. You may wish to stroll down the tree lined avenues, browse the dubious electrical goods on offer at the markets or relax with a beer in the 1950s Lido Bar.

Tour Reviews
Lucho was brilliant. Well organised and kept us aware of activities in advance of a highly paced schedule. Also incredibly informative on a range of subjects as well as being an exceptional travel companion ☺️.
The tour exceeded my expectations in every way. Bernar was a superstar! We could not have had a better guide. The hotels and transportation were much better than I had expected. Even the buses were of very high quality. The itinerary moved at a fast, but perfect pace. We got to see EVERYTHING! The travel app was AMAZING and we used it every day for weather reports, getting back to our hotels, finding restaurants, keeping up with the itinerary, etc. The hotel pins on the app gave us freedom to roam farther than we would have without it. EVERY tour company should have an app like that! The only downside happened the night we arrived. There was no one at the airport to pick us up. We called both local 24-hour emergency lines several times but they were unanswered. I found another emergency number and it was answered by a man in the UK who said it was 3:00 AM and I had gotten him out of bed. He was not happy or helpful. Tour guides from two other companies saw us in distress and came to help us. The trip got off to a very rocky start.
The tour was exceptionally good and our guide Elizabeth Luck was the best. We had the privilege of only 5 in the group and enjoyed the individual attention.
