When is the best time to visit Hungary?
Hungary experiences four distinct seasons. Summer from June to August is the hottest time of year, with temperatures frequently hitting 30 degrees Celsius and above. And winter from December to February can be very cold, but the Christmas markets in Budapest are well worth a visit, and the country's ski resorts are a cheaper alternative to the Alps! The best time to visit Budapest for sightseeing are the shoulder seasons of spring (March-May) and fall (September-November), characterized by pleasant weather and smaller crowds than the highs of summer.
Will I have a tour guide as part of my Hungary tour package?
Our Hungary tours are fully escorted by a local tour leader, who will be on hand throughout your trip. For some included sightseeing, you will also enjoy the services of local expert guides.
