Cape Town & Kruger (Mantobeni Camp)

On arrival in Cape Town, you'll be transferred from the airport to the hotel. The rest of the day is free to relax or head out and explore South Africa's oldest city.

Enjoy a guided tour of Cape Town this morning. Highlights of this tour include the oldest garden in South Africa, Company's Garden, and the Slave Lodge museum. Housed in an old colonial building, this museum tells the story of slavery in South Africa. You'll also visit Table Mountain, perhaps Cape Town's most iconic landmark. Ride the cable car (ticket not included) up to the top of the mountain for unbeatable panoramic views of the city. Returning to the hotel, the afternoon is free to head out and explore further, or relax in the hotel.

Heading out of Cape Town on a full-day excursion, today you'll discover Cape Point and the rest of the Cape Peninsula, at the far south of the African continent. The scenery here is some of the finest in the world, and you'll enjoy wonderful coastal views. A stop will be made at Simon's Town, a picturesque coastal town with gorgeous beaches. One of these is Boulders Beach, home to a large penguin colony. You'll also visit the Kirstenbosch Botanical Garden before returning to Cape Town.

Today is spent on a tour of South Africa's Winelands with visits to Stellenbosch, Franschhoek, and Paarl. Enjoy included wine tasting, sampling several of South Africa's finest homegrown wines. The scenery in this part of South Africa is truly out of this world! Return to Cape Town for one final evening.

Cape Town - Manyeleti Game Reserve. Leaving the hotel after breakfast, you'll be transferred to the airport for your flight to Hoedspruit Airport (flight not included in tour cost).

On arrival, you'll be transferred to our permanent tented camp, home for the next few days. Enjoy your lunch before embarking on a game drive in Manyeleti Game Reserve. Manyeleti is an unfenced private reserve that forms part of the Greater Kruger ecosystem. It's home to all of the Big Five, and is one of the best places in South Africa for a safari.

The next three full days are spent uncovering the rich tapestry of life found in Manyeleti. You'll enjoy morning and afternoon game drives each day, with the possibility to partake in other activities including walking safaris, animal tracking, and wildlife photography workshops. There's also a newly built bird hide opposite a watering hole near the camp for any keen birdwatchers to enjoy. The camp is unfenced, so wildlife is free to wander around the site, which it often does! All of your meals are prepared for you at the camp, so you can concentrate on ticking the Big Five off your bucket list.

Today your South African adventure comes to an end. There's an included transfer back to Hoedspruit Airport for your onward flight.
