Itinerary

Day 1 - Hoedspruit to Manyeleti

Hoedspruit - Manyeleti Private Game Reserve. On arrival at Hoedspruit Airport, you'll be met and transferred to Manyeleti Private Game Reserve in Greater Kruger. This private game reserve borders Kruger National Park, Timbavati Game Reserve, and Sabi Sands Game Reserve, forming part of a vast wilderness where wildlife roams freely. Remaining dry for much of the year, Manyeleti offers stunning wildlife scenes as animals gather at water holes. This reserve hosts the Big Five along with a diverse array of wildlife, including various antelope species, giraffes, hyenas, hippos, cheetahs, wild dogs, baboons, monkeys, and many others. Bird enthusiasts will also find a rich variety of birdlife to appreciate. In addition to exceptional game viewing, the reserve provides a unique glimpse into the culture and traditions of the Mnisi people, who have called this land home for generations.

Upon arrival at the Honeyguide Tented Safari Camp, check in and freshen up before enjoying lunch (time permitting). Then, embark on your first afternoon game drive, before enjoying dinner at the lodge.

Days 2-3 - Greater Kruger Game Drives

Over the next two days go in search of wildlife on morning and afternoon game drives.Each day begins with the beating of traditional drums, tea and coffee will be served before you meet at reception for the morning game drive. This three-hour adventure includes a break for snacks and additional tea or coffee. After the game drive, breakfast is served at the lodge, during breakfast, you can opt for an additional activity, a guided Bush Walk, available at an extra charge and open to those aged 16 and older.

Lunch is served at the lodge, providing a leisurely break before the afternoon game drive. The afternoon drive also lasts about three hours and includes snacks, soft drinks, and tea or coffee. Dinner is served after the afternoon game drive and meals will be al fresco, weather permitting. The chef presents the menu once everyone is seated, rounding off the day's adventures with a delightful meal.

Day 4 - Blyde River Canyon

Manyleti Private Game Reserve - White River. Enjoy your final game drive this morning, followed by breakfast at the lodge. Afterwards, you check out and transfer to White River, with a tour of the scenic Panorama Route en route. This tour includes visits to stunning natural landmarks such as God’s Window, Bourke’s Luck Potholes, the Three Rondavels, and Blyde River Canyon, which is the third-largest canyon of its kind in the world. This route is renowned for its magnificent views, dramatic landscapes, and beautiful waterfalls, making it one of the most scenic places in the region.

Upon arrival at White River, check in, freshen up, and spend the remains of the day at leisure, enjoying the facilities at the hotel.

Day 5 - Victoria Falls, Zambezi River Cruise

White River - Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe). After breakfast and checkout, transfer to Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport for your flight to Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe. Please note:Flight not included in the tour price. We can assist with booking on request.

Upon arrival at Victoria Falls International Airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. After check-in and freshening up, enjoy some leisure time at the hotel or take a stroll around the charming town of Victoria Falls, before departing for the luxury Zambezi River Sunset Cruise. This cruise is the perfect way to end a busy day, offering a chance to relax with complimentary sundowner drinks and snacks, while you watch a spectacular sunset over the beautiful Zambezi River, looking out for wildlife along the river bank.

Day 6 - The Victoria Falls

After breakfast embark on a guided tour of Victoria Falls. Marvel at this awe-inspiring natural wonder as the powerful cascade plummets 100 meters, creating "The Smoke that Thunders." Your tour guide will highlight the best photo spots and share fascinating historical and current information about this World Heritage Site, including details on its flora, fauna, birds, and wildlife. Raincoats are provided if needed.

The rest of the day is free for you to explore the town at your own pace or choose from a range of optional activities. Perhaps opt to enjoy lunch at the Rainforest Cafe, with the powerful roar of the Victoria Falls in the distance or take to the skies for an incredible aerial view of the Victoria Falls, on a Helicopter or Microlight Flight Tour. There's also a Historic Bridge Tour available and a tour of Livingstone Island in neighbouring Zambia, where those brave enough can sit in the Devil's Pool!

Day 7 - Victoria Falls Optional Activities

Day 7 begins with breakfast at the hotel and the rest of the day is free to spend at your leisure. There are many more optional activities to enjoy in and around Africa's Adventure Capital. From river rafting, ziplining and canopy tours, to horse riding, adventure jetboating and a Batoka Gorge Hike. Alternatively, you could book a Chobe Day Trip and head into neighbouring Botswana to spend the day in Chobe National Park, including a Chobe River Cruise and game drive.

Day 8 - Victoria Falls

Today your adventure comes to an end. There's an included transfer back to Victoria Falls Airport for your onward flight.
