Tour Reviews
great tour, the guides were fantastic, and really great fun
Overall it was a very good tour which met our expectations and visited a number of places we wished to see. Having been on an On the Go Tour of Turkiye a few years ago our hope was that it would be as good as that tour, which had been terrific with an amazing guide (Metim). Unfortunately we realised after booking this Portugal tour, that the tour was not with On the Go but with another tour company. The very first day we were left behind when the bus took off for the meet and greet evening entertainment and dinner. We were in the hotel reception area 5 to 10 minutes before departure, as instructed, and when we did go looking for the bus it actually took off before the departure time advised, leaving us behind. This appeared to us to indicate a lack of professionalism and also inexperience on the part of the tour leader. A simple head count should have indicated a shortage of numbers. However, the rest of the tour was good, although a more experienced tour leader would have been preferred.
