Botswana Travel Advice for UK Travellers
We closely monitor the latest travel advice on Botswana and follow the guidance provided by the British Foreign Office. The safety of our travellers is paramount and we recommend that you check the latest travel updates from the Foreign Office when planning your trip.
Flying to Botswana from the UK:
Botswana is roughly a 15 hour flight from the UK. For our tours that start or end in Botswana, Maun international airport will be the arrival/departure point though a number of our tours start in Maun and end in Victoria Falls, or vice versa, so you will need to book what's known as an open jaw ticket flying into one city and out of another. From London to Maun one of the quickest options is with South African Airways via Johannesburg, who also fly to Victoria Falls. If flying from Manchester most airlines require two transit stops. We have a full ATOL licence (ATOL 6109) and would be glad to assist with your flight booking to Botswana.
