Flying to Costa Rica from the UK:
Costa Rica is around a 15 hour flight from the UK with the majority of flights flying indirect. San Jose is the capital city and the joining point for our group tours that start in Costa Rica. From London the quickest flight option is with British Airways at under 11 hours who offer a direct route from Gatwick to San Jose. BA fly on Wednesday and Saturday during the summer months and Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday in the winter. Another good option from London is with Iberia via Madrid with short transit times. If departing from Manchester then Virgin Atlantic and United Airlines are good 1-stop options. We have a full ATOL licence (ATOL 6109) and can assist with your international flight booking to Costa Rica.
