Tip for your tour guide. We recommend you allow USD$4-7 per day, per traveller. Tipping your guide is an entirely personal gesture
Entrance Fees: USD$65-75pp, paid in local currency
Tipping Kitty: USD$30-40pp, paid in local currency
Tipping is not a natural part of many Western cultures and many of us feel uncomfortable, or unsure, about when, or how much, to tip. However, in the places you will visit, tipping makes up a significant part of many people's wages so it's important that we get it right. For this reason we've developed a very simple system to take all the hassle out of tipping. With our 'tipping made easy' policy, a nominal pre-determined amount is collected from all group tour participants to cover tips en route. This then saves you the hassle of when and how much to tip bellhops, luggage handlers, local guides and other support staff through the tour. Our 'tipping made easy' doesn't include a tip to your group tour leader. Naturally, though, the amount is up to you as tipping is an entirely personal gesture.

Tour Reviews

Regarding the first week, Yusuf was great guide and in my opinion who went above and beyond for everyone. I couldn't have expected or asked for more. Regarding the tour in general, this was fantastic, from the knowledge shared, the accommodation (1st week), the locations visited to the airport transfers. Everything was made easy. Regarding the accommodation in Goa (Sonesta inn). This was ideally situated and set near a lovely part of the beach. The hotel gardens were lovely. Our room was a little tired and there was little hot water from the shower. Hotel staff and security were all very nice and for just under a week stay we felt the room was manageable although we would book to stay there again. As mentioned above all hotels in the first week of the holiday during the tour were great.

Everything was extremely well organised. Yusuf was fantastic and open to changing the itinerary to suit the group. He was very honest and informative about anything we asked him. Mr Singh and Tinnku were a great team on the bus as well. The places visited were a good balance that had something for everyone.

This was an amazing tour where we not only saw the tourist attractions, which were out of this world, but also the real India. Our tour guide went out of his way to show us the local villages, took us to a brick factory and also to a private school as well as a government funded school so we could see the comparisons. Our tour guide Yogi went above and beyond his duties as a tour guide as we had difficulty changing money which he made phone calls and had someone come to the hotel to help us. He even gave us some money until we were able to sort. The information that Yogi passed onto us about his country was brilliant and helped pass the time on the long coach journeys between cities. Overall, the tour and the tour guide were outstanding. Thank you for an amazing holiday with fabulous memories.

Thoroughly enjoyed the Golden Triangle tour, ou tour guide "Sat" was excellent - extremely knowledgeable, made the various points of the tour extremely interesting. The only downside I would express, was the standard of the hotel used in Agra, which was not up to the standards of the other hotels used in tour. Would happily use On the Go once again - you need more publicity, as very few people know of your existance! And thank you for your support in arranging the holiday for both of us. John

Overall I was very happy with the whole holiday. India and the Indian people were fascinating. I found Indian people very friendly, happy and good to be with. This was one of the best holidays ever had and I have travelled extensively. I looked forward to each day with excitement. Thank you very much.
