Day 1 - Welcome to Kathmandu

Upon arrival at Kathmandu Airport you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Enjoy a welcome drink upon arrival and then spend the rest of the day at leisure exploring Nepal's bustling capital.
Days 2-3 - Chitwan National Park

Kathmandu – Chitwan National Park. On the morning of day 2 depart Kathmandu and drive to Chitwan National Park (approx 5 hour drive). Chitwan is Nepal’s premier national park and it was granted World Heritage status in 1984. the park is home to more than 500 species including the vulnerable one horned rhinoceros, gharial crocodile, Indian elephant, sambar deer, bison, striped hyenas and the elusive Royal Bengal tiger. Later today village walk at sunset and watch a Tharu cultural dance show.
The following day enjoy a full day of jungle activities. This includes a jeep safari in the national park (except for monsoon period), a nature walk, canoeing and bird watching in the park. Go in search of wildlife, accompanied by knowledgeable naturalist guide, looking out for the one horned rhino, various types of deer, boar, leopard, and if we are very fortunate the elusive tiger.
Day 4 - Travel back to Kathmandu

Chitwan National Park – Kathmandu. After breakfast at the resort, drive back to Kathmandu (approx 5 hours) and enjoy the rest of the afternoon and evening at leisure.

Rise early for an optional Everest scenic flight. On this hour-long flight take in breath-taking views of the mighty Himalayan mountains and Mt. Everest, the world’s highest peak (8848 m).
Sightseeing today begins with a tour of the royal city of Patan, 5kms south of Kathmandu on the southern side of the Bagmati River. Enchanting Patan is a centre of Buddhist and Hindu culture and has an incredible Patan Durbar Square, full of exquisite temples. One remarkable monument here is a 17th century temple dedicated to the Hindu God Krishna. In Patan you will also have the unique opportunity to witness the magic of singing bowls performed by Buddhist monks.
In the afternoon visit Swayambhunath, the iconic Buddhist 'monkey temple,' where holy monkeys reside. Then continue on to the famous Kathmandu Durbar Square, which is home to palaces, temples and courtyards. Highlights here include the ancient three-roofed Taleju Temple and the fascinating Kumari Ghar- home of "the Kumari", or living goddess. End the day with an exhilarating rickshaw ride from the Old City to Thamel, followed by a dinner and cultural dance show.
