LATEST TRAVEL UPDATES AND ADVICE FOR Turkey

Travel Advice Summary

All of our holidays to Turkey follow the travel advice offered by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO).

The FCO currently advises against travel to the region of Turkey bordering Syria, which includes the Diyarbakir province. Our tours do not visit this region and at the closest point on our travels Diyarbakir province remains 650+km away.

Our group tours to Turkey are departing as normal as there is no travel restrictions on visits to Istanbul, Cappadocia, Pamukkale and the Aegean coastline, or anywhere else we travel.

Should you wish to read more travel advice offered by the FCO for Turkey including advice on health, money, Safety and Security and entry requirements, you can do so here.

Travellers should familiarise themselves with the latest travel advice for the country they are visiting and make a personal assessment as to whether the level of safety is satisfactory to them, prior to booking.

Travelling to Cappadocia

At present Cappadocia is as far east in Turkey that our group tours visit. It's a perfectly safe region over 450km from the Syrian border and remains unaffected by recent troubles. Our tours that include Cappadocia have been operating as normal with passengers safely visiting the wonderful underground villages and churches, and more often than not enjoying a scenic hot air balloon ride over the area.
