Itinerary

Day 1 - South Coast Experience

Setting off from Reykjavik, our first stop is Seljalandsfoss waterfall. Here you have the unique opportunity to walk behind the fall and look out at the panoramic view from behind the waterfall.

As we drive to our next destination you will be gifted with stunning views of Eyjafjallajokull and Hekla volcanoes, which rise from the surrounding landscape. On clear days you will also be able to see the Westman Islands off the coast. The next stop is Solheimajokull glacier where we traverse the ancient ice and experience the thrill of glacier hiking. Moving on to Reynisfjara, we walk along the black sand beaches and marvel at the Reynisdrangar cliffs and basalt rock stacks as they tower out of the ocean.

The final attraction of the day is the thunderous Skogafoss waterfall. Walk up to the waterfall and feel the glacier water spray against your face. If you fancy it, you can hike up beside the waterfall to look down at the water as it falls below you. After this we return to Reykjavik where the tour ends at approximately 20:00.

Please note: Pick up for this tour is at 08:00. Information regarding your pick-up location in Reykjavik will be visible on your booking documentation.
