Arrive in Italy, most likely to Florence, Pisa or Rome airports. Make your way to the hotel in Montecatini. After checking in, the rest of the day is free for you to enjoy at your leisure. This evening, we’ll gather with our fellow travellers for a welcome dinner at the hotel.

Day 2 Leisure Day in Montecatini
Today, you’ll have a whole day to unwind and take in the delights of Montecatini. Wander around this charming spa town, enjoy a coffee in one of the many cafés, or ride the cable car up to the picturesque Montecatini Alto. Your guide will be on hand to offer recommendations for activities and sights to see. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 3 Florence Sightseeing
Day 3 Florence Sightseeing
Montecatini - Florence - Montecatini. Today, we’re off on a full-day excursion to explore Florence, the birthplace of the Renaissance! Our guide will lead us on a walking tour of this captivating city. We’ll begin by admiring the famous Duomo cathedral with its striking green and pink façade, before moving on to the Piazza della Signoria, which was the centre of the Florentine Republic and remains the political heart of the city. As we continue our walk, we’ll head towards the Arno River to see the iconic Ponte Vecchio "Old Bridge", lined with shops along its length.
The afternoon is free for you to enjoy lunch, do some sightseeing, or perhaps indulge in a spot of shopping at the famous Leather Market. We will enjoy dinner at our accommodation tonight.

Today, you’ll have another opportunity to relax and discover the charming town of Montecatini! Enjoy a leisurely stroll through its picturesque piazzas and leafy parks, and explore the shops and cafés. Our guide will be happy to offer suggestions for sightseeing in Montecatini and the surrounding areas. Dinner will be served at the hotel.
Day 5 Siena & San Gimignano
Day 5 Siena & San Gimignano
Montecatini - Siena - San Gimignano - Montecatini. We’ll continue to uncover the beauty of Tuscany! Our day begins with a guided tour of Siena, a city renowned for its art, cuisine, museums, and medieval landscape. We’ll visit the Piazza del Campo, home to the famous Palio horse race held twice a year.
In the afternoon, we’ll head to the hilltop town of San Gimignano, known as the "Town of Fine Towers." A UNESCO World Heritage Site, it is surrounded by medieval walls and famous for its stunning architecture and impressive skyline. We’ll have free time to explore the narrow streets and rich history, perhaps taking the opportunity to sample the local white wine, Vernaccia di San Gimignano, made from grapes grown on the region’s sandstone hillsides. It's back to Montecatini for the night.

Today, you can enjoy a final day at leisure in Montecatini. You may choose to take an optional excursion to the picturesque villages of Cinque Terre, or treat yourself at one of the nine thermal centres, where you can indulge in everything from massages to mud baths, saunas to beauty treatments.
Day 7 Lucca & Pisa
Day 7 Lucca & Pisa
Montecatini - Lucca - Pisa - Montecatini. This morning, we’ll join our guide for a full-day excursion to discover more of this charming region of Italy. We begin with a visit to Lucca, the birthplace of the famous composer Puccini and the only town in Italy entirely surrounded by walls. Our expert local guide will lead us through the historic streets of this prosperous city, packed with beautiful Romanesque churches.
After the tour, you’ll have some free time to enjoy lunch or explore the city further before we make our way to Pisa in the afternoon.
In Pisa, we’ll visit the Piazza dei Miracoli, home to one of Italy’s most iconic landmarks, the Leaning Tower. The famous tilt was caused by unstable foundations, which couldn’t support the weight of the structure. The lean increased before the tower was completed and later corrected in the 20th and 21st centuries. During our visit, we’ll also discover Pisa Cathedral and the many Baroque buildings that make up the Square of Miracles. We head back to Montecatini for one final night.
