Sunday. Welcome to Seoul! Upon arrival you will be met at Incheon Airport and transferred to our hotel in the centre of Seoul.
Seoul, the capital of South Korea, is a captivating blend of tradition and modernity. This bustling city boasts a rich history reflected in its ancient palaces and shrines, while also showcasing futuristic skyscrapers and innovative architecture. Here, you can explore Korea's royal palaces and serene parks, shop at dynamic markets, enjoy diverse Korean cuisine, and immerse yourself in the city's vibrant nightlife.
The remainder of the day is free for you to relax or explore Seoul at your own pace. The subway station is within walking distance of the hotel, giving you easy access to all areas of the city.
Day 2 - Exploring Seoul

Embark on a guided tour of Seoul today, where you'll have the opportunity to explore some of the city's most iconic landmarks and delve into its rich culture and history.
Your first stop is Cheong Wa Dae, also known as The Blue House, which serves as South Korea's equivalent to The White House. Notably, it houses the executive office and serves as the official residence of the President of South Korea.
Next, venture to the majestic Gyeongbokgung Palace, the largest among the "Five Grand Palaces" built during the last Korean Dynasty, the Joseon Dynasty. Within the palace's grounds, pay a visit to Jogyesa Temple, a sanctuary dedicated to Buddhism and The National Folk Museum, which offers a fascinating exploration of Korean culture, tradition, and history.
Afterwards, head to the vibrant district of Insadong. You'll have the chance to explore antique shops, craft boutiques, pottery studios, traditional restaurants, and inviting teahouses. If time permits, you can also explore an amethyst or ginseng specialist, offering home remedies and exquisite finery.
Your day concludes with a visit to N Seoul Tower, perched atop Mount Namsan. From this elevated vantage point, you'll be treated to breathtaking panoramic views of the bustling city of Seoul.
Day 3 - Gyeongju

Seoul - Gyeongju. Today's journey takes you southeast from Seoul to Gyeongju, nestled in the North Gyeongsang province. This city, once the capital of the ancient kingdom of Silla, is steeped in history, earning it the name "the museum without walls."
In the afternoon, your exploration of Gyeongju begins at Tumuli Park, where you'll have the opportunity to visit more than 20 large and small tombs dating back to the Silla period. Among them is the resting place of King Michu, the 13th King of the dynasty, celebrated for his role in fending off invaders. Continuing your journey through Gyeongju's historical treasures, you'll discover Anapji Pond, a picturesque pond where the Silla royal family once sought leisure.
Finally, you'll visit Cheomseongdae Observatory, one of the world's oldest scientific installations still in existence.
Day 4 - Busan

Gyeongju - Busan. This morning, embark on a remarkable journey to two UNESCO-listed wonders in South Korea. Begin your day with a visit to the prestigious temple of Bulguksa, an architectural marvel renowned for its historical significance and spiritual beauty. Next, venture to the Seokguram Grotto, one of Asia's most exceptional Buddhist shrines.
In the afternoon, travel to Busan, South Korea's main port city. Upon arrival, visit Busan Tower, nestled within the enchanting Yongdusan Park. From the tower's vantage point, you'll be treated to spectacular views of Busan's charming landscape.
Next, visit Jagalchi Fish Market, a bustling hub where fishermen proudly showcase their fresh catches, and locals engage in lively haggling for the best deals on seafood. For a taste of traditional market shopping, head to Kukje Market, the ultimate destination in Busan for a wide array of goods, including silk, clothing, linen, handbags, and much more.
Day 5 - Jeju Island

Busan - Jeju Island. Today, depart from Busan and head to Gimhae Airport for a flight to the enchanting Jeju Island. Located just an hour away from Busan by air, Jeju Island is a captivating volcanic gem known for its breathtaking natural beauty.
Upon your arrival on Jeju Island, you'll embark on a tour that will take you to the remarkable Hallim Park. This destination features exotic botanical gardens, intriguing lava caves, a captivating folk village, and the O'Sulloc Tea Museum. At the museum, you'll have the opportunity to delve into traditional Korean tea culture.
After a day of exploration and discovery, the evening is yours to enjoy at leisure. Whether you choose to relax in the ambiance of Jeju Island or venture out to explore its charming surroundings, you're sure to enjoy this unique island!
Day 6 - Mount Hallasan National Park

Embrace the natural wonders of Jeju Island today as you enjoy a hiking adventure through the stunning terrain of Mt. Hallasan National Park. This park is home to South Korea's highest peak, Mt. Hallasan, and offers an array of breathtaking sights and experiences.
During your hike, you'll have the opportunity to witness the volcanic rock formations of Jusangjeolli Cliff. These dramatic columns of basalt rock, created by ancient volcanic activity, stand as a testament to the island's volcanic origins. You will also visit the enchanting Cheonjeyeon Falls, a three-tiered waterfall known for its pristine beauty. Stand in awe of the cascading waters and lush vegetation, enjoying the natural wonders of Jeju Island.
After a day of hiking, the evening is yours to enjoy at leisure.
Day 7 - Seongsan Sunrise Peak

Jeju Island - Seoul. On your final day on Jeju Island, you'll have the opportunity to explore some of its most remarkable natural and cultural wonders. Your first stop is Manjanggul Cave, a UNESCO-listed marvel that holds the title of the world's longest lava cave, stretching for approximately 8 kilometers.
Next, you'll visit Seongsan Sunrise Peak, an iconic volcano crater that emerges dramatically from the sea. The day continues with a visit to Seongeup Village, a mountain settlement where traditional thatched roof houses with stone and clay walls transport you back in time.
In the afternoon, transfer to Jeju Airport for a flight back to Seoul, arriving at Gimpo Airport. Upon arrival, you'll be transferred to your hotel.
Day 8 - The DMZ

Seoul - DMZ - Seoul. Embark on a private tour that delves deep into the heart of the Korean Demilitarized Zone (DMZ), a historic and heavily fortified buffer zone that divides North Korea and South Korea along the 38th parallel.
Your journey begins with a visit to Imjingak Park, a poignant site situated on the banks of the Imjin River. This park serves as a memorial, commemorating all those who lost their homes and were separated from their families as a result of the division of Korea.
Next, you'll explore the 3rd North Korean Infiltration Tunnel. This tunnel was constructed by North Korea with the intention of a surprise invasion. Your tour also includes a visit to the Dora Observatory, perched on Mount Dora within South Korea, offering a unique opportunity to peer into the reclusive North. Equipped with binoculars, you can gaze across the border to Kaesong, a light industrial city in North Korea.
Finally, as you journey back to Seoul, you'll have the chance for some last-minute shopping if time allows.
