Danang - Hoi An. Upon arrival at Da Nang Airport, you'll be met and transferred to Hoi An. Hoi An is a charming town renowned for its well-preserved ancient streets, lined with Chinese traders' homes and wooden houses. After checking into your hotel, enjoy time at leisure to explore Hoi An's captivating atmosphere, characterised by its lantern-lit streets, vibrant markets, and bustling riverfront.

Venture from Hoi An to Tra Que village, cycling through the picturesque countryside (we can arrange alternative transportation at no extra cost for those who don't wish to cycle). Upon arrival, join farmers in tending to the vegetable gardens. Participate in various activities such as preparing the land, fertilizing it with seaweed, raking the ground, sowing, watering, and picking vegetables. Afterwards, enjoy lunch featuring local delicacies like 'tam huu' spring rolls, Banh Xeo, and traditional pancakes from the central region of Vietnam. You can even join the local family in cooking these dishes. Bid farewell to the village and cycle back to Hoi An.

Today, enjoy a full day at your leisure in Hoi An. Take the opportunity to explore the town's charming streets or head to the beach. An Bang beach, located north of Hoi An, offers a relaxing retreat by the sea. For food enthusiasts, indulge in some local delicacies: try the famous Banh Mi sandwich at Madam Khanh’s stall on Tran Cao Van street, try a bowl of Cao Lau soup, or sample crispy Hoanh Thanh. If you're in the mood for seafood, head to Huyen Tran Cong Chua street along the river east of the Old Quarter and dine at Song Thu restaurant, where you can enjoy a variety of seafood dishes.

Hoi An - Danang - Saigon. Today, journey back to Danang for your onward flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel for check-in. Formerly known as Saigon, this vibrant city blends modernity and history. Explore iconic landmarks such as Notre Dame Cathedral (exterior only due to renovations), the Central Post Office, and Chinatown on a guided tour. Conclude your day with a visit to the poignant War Remnants Museum.

Ho Chi Minh - Mekong Delta - Ho Chi Minh. Travel south of Ho Chi Minh City to Ben Tre in the Mekong Delta, renowned for its coconut production. Embark on a boat journey through mangrove forests, stopping at brick and coconut processing workshops to witness traditional handcrafting techniques. Try local sweets, fruits, and enjoy traditional music before visiting a farmer's house to learn about sleep mat weaving. Enjoy a tuktuk ride through local hamlets, rice fields, and coconut groves, followed by lunch at a local restaurant serving Mekong Delta specialties. Conclude the morning with a rowing boat transfer on a shady palm tree canal before returning to Ho Chi Minh City.

Today, unveil Phnom Penh's history with a full-day city tour. Begin by exploring the National Museum of Arts, home to Cambodia’s most extensive collection of Khmer sculptures. Continue to the Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda, where diamond-encrusted Buddha statues and a floor adorned with five tons of silver await.
Later, learn about the tragic legacy of the Pol Pot Regime with a visit to Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum, formerly Security Prison S21, where the horrors of the Khmer Rouge era are laid bare. Conclude your day with a poignant visit to the Killing Fields, a reminder of Cambodia's tumultuous past, where over 10,000 people lost their lives.

Phnom Penh - Siem Reap. This morning, check out from your hotel and transfer to the airport for your onward flight to Siem Reap. Upon arrival and freshening up, visit the Angkor National Museum, housing relics from the ancient Angkor Empire spanning the 9th to 14th centuries.
In the afternoon, head to the iconic Angkor Wat, the world's largest religious monument and a symbol of Cambodia's heritage. Explore its vast three-tiered structure, crowned by five towering lotus-like towers reaching 65 meters high. With its well-preserved architecture, Angkor Wat promises plenty of photo opportunities!
Day 9 Temples of Siem Reap
Day 9 Temples of Siem Reap
Siem Reap – Banteay Srei – Angkor Thom – Ta Prohm - Siem Reap. This morning, early risers have the opportunity to return to Angkor Wat and witness its enchanting sunrise (book & pay locally). Later, journey to the exquisite temples of Banteay Srei, making stops along the way at a butterfly sanctuary. You'll also have the opportunity to contribute to a community tree planting initiative in the village of Preak Dak, supporting sustainable efforts to preserve the local environment.
Returning to the Angkor Temple Complex, explore the ancient capital of Angkor Thom, featuring the Bayon Temple, the Terraces of the Elephants, Leper King, and the Baphuon royal enclosure. The next destination is Ta Prohm Temple, famously known as the 'Tomb Raider Temple' for its role in the blockbuster starring Angelina Jolie.
In the evening, visit the Phare Cambodian Circus, an inspiring NGO project empowering Cambodian children by training them as skilled circus performers.
