Less popular time to visit: Zanzibar sees the majority of its rainfall from November - December and especially from April - May. But if you don't mind the odd soaking, then prices are much lower at these times.
Best time for beaches: Zanzibar is a year round beach destination, except for the wettest months of April - May. For the most reliable dry weather, head to Zanzibar between June - October.
Best time for scuba diving: June - October is also the best time to head under the waves of Zanzibar, with great visibility at this time of year.
