Discover the Todra Gorge

The deep ravine of Todra Gorge is situated on the remote east side of the High Atlas Mountains. Many years ago, a raging river carved out the gorge. The final 40km of the Gorge run through the mountains with the final 600m being the most spectacular stretch of the Gorge. At the 600m mark the canyon narrows to a flat stony track as little as 10m wide in places with smooth rock walls stretching up to 160m high.

The rock faces seeming change colour during the day from a rosy red when the sun is high to a dull tan as the day goes on. There are many hiking trails available on the Gorge, with spectacular views as you traverse the canyon. You may even spot some of the area’s locals with their small donkeys or hearing camels.
