Tip for your tour guide and driver. We recommend you allow USD$2-3 per day, per traveller for your guide and USD$1-2 per day, per traveller for your driver. Tipping your guide and driver is an entirely personal gesture
Entrance Fees: USD$55-75pp, paid in local currency
Tipping Kitty: USD$30-40pp, paid in local currency
Tipping is not a natural part of many Western cultures and many of us feel uncomfortable, or unsure, about when, or how much, to tip. However, in the places you will visit, tipping makes up a significant part of many people's wages so it's important that we get it right. For this reason we've developed a very simple system to take all the hassle out of tipping. With our 'tipping made easy' policy, a nominal pre-determined amount is collected from all group tour participants to cover tips en route. This then saves you the hassle of when and how much to tip bellhops, luggage handlers, local guides and other support staff through the tour. Our 'tipping made easy' doesn't include a tip to your group tour leader. Naturally, though, the amount is up to you as tipping is an entirely personal gesture.

Tour Reviews

Imperial Morocco & the Blue City, was a fantastic tour, we saw some amazing ancient sites, some beautiful Mosques. The Blue City is something that shouldn’t be missed if going to Morocco. We have done numerous tours, and OMAR is the absolute best tour guide we have had, so knowledgeable and friend.

Fantastic well organised tour with a great mix of stunning places and experiences. A superb range of hotels, smooth transfers from one fascinating location to another guided by our excellent tour guide Omar - informative, friendly & fun! A brilliant trip!

Omar was excellent as a tour guide (rating for Omar) Hussain took over from Fes was underwhelming at best. Seemed disinterested Accom in Blue City was grubby. Accom in Casablanca tired and smelt of stale smoke. Riads and other hotels were great

The tour guide Omar was exceptional. He made the trip interesting and enjoyable. He looked after all the important logistics and went out of his way to make everything easy for everyone on the tour. His knowlege about Moroccan history and culture was excellent and he was happy to share this us.

Honestly, I’m getting a bit annoyed with male tour guides. They have no concept of women’s needs to shop. Racing through a Medina on a ‘tour of the Medina’ is just not good enough. The women in our tour had to stage a coup just to get a couple of hours shopping in Marrakesh on the last day. Apart from that, our guide was lovely and so was our driver. However - there is way too much time on a bus in this tour. I booked this tour because there seemed to be plenty of leisure time and minimal bus time. This was not the case. On our second to last day we had to spend 10 hours driving to a dry lake in the mountains. We arrived at 7pm, had a drink and went to bed exhausted. Up early the next day to sit in the bus again to drive to Marrakech. What a nightmare. Why? That section could have been eliminated to allow an extra day in Marrakech. The hotels in Rabat and Fes were fantastic. The hotel near Chefchaouen was filthy and too far away for us to shop unsupervised. Marrakech- good, Casablanca- very strange, cold not lock the balcony door. The hotel at the dry lake was pretty good apart from the shower head where most jets were clogged. The Moroccan people were friendly and patient. Overall this tour tries to pack too much into the time available.
