Flying to Nepal from New Zealand:
The average flight time between New Zealand and Nepal is 19 hours though it ultimately depends on which city you are departing from and the route you fly. In Nepal the international gateway is Kathmandu, the capital city, though there are no direct flights from New Zealand to this destination. Most flights will require one or two transit stops. One of the fastest routes from Auckland is with Malaysia Airlines via Kuala Lumpur. Depending on what day you're flying, other options include Qantas via Australia and India, and China Southern Airlines via Guangzhou, both departing from Christchurch also.
