Itinerary
Day 1 Welcome to Marmaris
Day 1 Welcome to Marmaris
We begin our journey at Marmaris Harbour, where boarding starts at 16:30. On our first day, we will enjoy dinner and spend the night on the boat, docked in Marmaris Port.
Marmaris, built upon the ancient Karian city of Phyckos, has been influenced by many different civilizations throughout its history. If you wish to head out and explore the city, one of the most remarkable sights to visit is Marmaris Castle, which dates back to 1577.
As you venture a bit further, you will find the ruins of antiquity on Asar Hill, a small hill located on the northern side of the city. Renowned as one of Turkey's top tourist destinations, Marmaris also boasts a large marina, perfect for exploring the stunning coastline. Enjoy your first night onboard, before we set sail tomorrow.
Day 2 Exploring Ekincik Gulf
Day 2 Exploring Ekincik Gulf
Marmaris - Dalyan. After breakfast, you will be briefed about the cruise itinerary and the boat. Our cruise will then set off towards Ekincik Gulf. From here, you can enjoy a leisurely day of sunbathing, or opt to join a tour of the town of Dalyan.
If you choose the tour, you will be transferred from our yacht to a small boat known as a “piyade.” Our first stop will be Caretta-Caretta Beach, where we can enjoy a refreshing swim. As we cruise along the river, we’ll have the chance to take in the stunning natural beauty of the delta. We will also see the ancient Rock Tombs before reaching the mud baths, where we can relax and rejuvenate.
After our visit to the mud baths, we will return to our yacht via the piyade boat. Our evening will conclude with dinner and an overnight stay in the Gulf of Ekincik.
Day 3 Sunken Bath Bay & Tersane Island
Day 3 Sunken Bath Bay & Tersane Island
Dalyan - Kizil Island. Due to the choppy waters around Disibilmez and Kurtoglu capes, we will set sail earlier than usual and make our way to the renowned Gocek Gulf. Our first stop will be Sunken Bath, where we will enjoy breakfast and take a swim. This area, also called Cleopatra Bay or Sunken Bath Bay, is famed for the stunning underwater ruins of an ancient bathhouse. Afterwards, we will cruise to Tersane Island, a naturally sheltered harbour that once served as a shipyard during both the Byzantine and Ottoman periods. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Kizil Island.
Day 4 Fethiye
Day 4 Fethiye
Kizil Island - Fethiye. Arriving at Fethiye Harbour in the early morning, you'll step ashore in a place once known as Telmessos in ancient times. Telmessos was the most significant city on the western edge of Lycia, bordering Caria. Its name is thought to derive from Telmessos, son of the god Apollo, symbolising the city’s association with light and its famed prophets.
For those interested, an optional jeep safari tour of Fethiye is available. Guests not joining the safari can cruise to Samanlik Bay for lunch and a swim. Later, around 16:00, the boat will anchor at Ece Saray Marina. Final disembarkation takes place at around 16:30.
